Indigenous People Groups, Central Mexico

Population of 30 Million Indians within the country of
Mexico.
Many of their villages are isolated and remote, high up
in the mountains.
The use of four wheel drive vehicles, motorcycles, horses,
and foot is the predominant way to contact these villages.
These people are the direct descendents of the tribes that
the Spanish Conquistadors found when they conquered Mexico.
There are 18 different tribes, the majority of them are Aztecs.
Spanish is their second language, if they speak Spanish at all.
They live in bamboo huts with grass roofs and dirt floors and cook over open fires.
There are thousands of villages without a gospel witness since the fall of man.
